“How can time not be pregnant with its own sense of future?”

Raqs Media Collective proposes the idea of ‘untimeliness’ as a way to survive the contemporaneity, a practice of being out of joint with time as well as to disengaged with fever of modernity. The lecture-performance will speculating on the concept of time through fragments of recordings, film excerpt and readings to illustrate their idea about the untimely. One of the fragment includes a letter address to a four years old and a fifty years old Amalia who has an appointment to be present at the site of the earthed time capsule which will be open in 2061.
